SSC age eligibility depends on your exact age on the exam’s cutoff date, usually 1st January or 1st August of the exam year. Different posts under SSC have different minimum and maximum age conditions.
SSC conducts several exams such as CGL, CHSL, CPO, MTS, GD etc. Each post has specific job requirements — hence different age limits. Reserved categories receive relaxation as per government rules.
OBC, SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-servicemen receive additional relaxation. Our calculator automatically applies these rules based on your selection.
